The supervised visitation program with Mary Magdalene works closely with CPS as it is referral based. 

All the referrals come from CPS directly and are open CPS cases. Children have the right to maintain 

relationships and connections with parents and family that they have an emotional bond with.  

The supervised visitation program strives to ensure a safe, clean, and  inviting environment for

families to visit.  Our titles are supervised visitation monitors in which we observe and report

to county social workers, social worker supervisors, and (in rare cases) may even be subpoena

to testify. In addition to observation, supervised visitation monitors also teach, coach,

provide parenting skills, and redirect depending on the specifics of the referrals.

Supervised visitation monitors provide detailed documentation notes to social

workers and social worker supervisors.
