MMCS Alphabet Alley: ABC Affirmations
There is an adage that says it takes a village to raise a child. We must encourage, love, and support our children. It is also essential for us to teach our children to go within themselves, assert and recognize their individual value. Please enjoy Mary Magdalene Community Services' rendition of The Melanin Gang: ABC Affirmations by Myesha and Mohammed Shuaibe
This video will be featured at The Record's Literacy and Book Fair 24th Annual Family Day at the Park Virtual Event: https://familydayatthepark.com/. You will be able to find the video under Activity Areas in Alphabet Alley starting September 27th until the end of October.

Powering Homes, Empowering Families
Dec. 22, 2020
In the Central Valley, household gas consumption increases 200% during the winter. This year, families impacted by COVID-19 will be burdened by utility bills. This is why I’m excited to announce that my office and Stockton Strong teamed up to provide $50k in utility assistance to Stocktonians. We will be partnering with
Fathers & Families of San Joaquin,
El Concilio, Women's Center - Youth & Family Services, and Mary Magdalene Community Services to distribute funds to residents.
